The SAP Quality Issue Management Module (SAP QIM) solves these problems and allows an efficient and integrated management of quality issues across the entire company.
SAP QIM is based on the proven SAP NetWeaver architecture and provides a fully comprehensive software solution for managing all of a company’s quality issues. It offers seamless integration with existing SAP and non-SAP systems. When switching to the SAP S/4HANA world, the simultaneous connection of ECC as well as S/4HANA systems is also possible.
The use of SAP QIM is role- and web-based via an intuitive user interface, which guides the user through data entry and allows flexible definition of business scenarios and terminologies. SAP QIM enables efficient identification, assessment and handling of quality issues where the related data can be obtained and processed from different sources. In doing so, it ensures the compliance of business processes by integrating deviation and CAPA management and checking the measures derived from it for their effectiveness and validity. However, it can also be used for mapping 8D management.
