TEST EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT WITH SAP QM
The SAP Test Equipment Management component enables you to manage your equipment data in an integrated way, plan and schedule tests, and perform calibration tests on equipment.
If you are using SAP S4HANA or SAP ECC, you already have everything you need and there are no additional acquisition or licensing costs.
The test equipment management integrated in SAP is a prerequisite for the objective evaluation of your measurement results in QM and forms the basis for the trustworthiness of the decisions based on them.
- Test equipment must be uniquely identified and its movements must be traceable.
- The requirements for test equipment must be defined according to the tasks of the equipment.
- Test equipment shall be routinely inspected, calibrated and adjusted to ensure that it can fulfil its requirements.
- The handling of test equipment shall not adversely affect its performance.
