Stability studies with QM in SAP S/4HANA

Stability studies are conducted to monitor and analyse the influence of different conditions (e.g. temperature, light, humidity) on a preparation, material or batch over a specified period of time. Various national and international regulatory authorities (e.g. the US Food and Drug Administration, FDA) and international guidelines (e.g. GMP) define the extent to which and for which products stability studies must be carried out, e.g. as a requirement for marketing authorisation or as a regular control tool during the marketing period. Stability studies are also used in the development process of new products, for example to find the ideal composition or packaging of a product that meets stability and shelf-life requirements under specified or defined storage conditions.
SAP S/4HANA supports the entire stability study process, from the creation of the stability study, to the planning and execution of the stability tests, to the closing of the stability study.
