SAP Life Sciences Innovations and Ecosystem Strategy
We are organising this web session together with SAP SE and as part of the Life Sciences Alliance – your partner network for validated SAP S/4HANA solutions in the pharmaceutical and medical technology SME sector.
In this websession we will discuss top trends that are transforming the Life Sciences industry and will force to shaping their business and how SAP is helping the industry to become more resilient in responding to these trends.
Over the past few years, several fundamental changes in the biopharma manufacturing process have occurred. By leveraging right first time and manufacturing 4.0 principles, the industry is looking to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality by design and compliance. These changes are creating a paradigm shift in pharmaceutical manufacturing to more predictive and adaptive facilities that leverage modular technology disposable components, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), smart objects, remote control, and augmented reality. These techniques greatly influence design, construction, layout, and operation of a plant – and, the timing and cost of the overall product while maintaining regulatory compliance.
