The EU is consistently driving forward the harmonization of regulatory requirements. A key component of this effort is the Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP).

By the end of 2026, even non-critical medicinal products must be fully IDMP-compliant and submitted to the EMA Product Management Service (PMS). For Marketing Authorisation Holders (MAHs), this means that structured, standardized, and SPOR-compliant product data must be provided on time.
