Change folders in SAP S/4HANA

Are change folders in SAP just a new medium for managing processes in S/4HANA that were previously mapped in an SAP ECC system using change requests and change master records?
The web session will introduce the change folder and show the link to the change master record. A demo will show how to create different types of folders in S/4HANA using the Manage Change Folders application. These folder types can not only be used to support different processes in the company, but also to control additional functions such as process routes, assigning attachments or digital signature releases. The Manage Change Master Records application provides the ability to search or select change master records – including those migrated from SAP ECC – and jump from the list to the individual change.
