In the regulated environment of the life sciences industry, computer systems that have an impact on product quality, patient safety or data integrity must be validated in accordance with legal requirements and kept in a valid state throughout the entire system life cycle. This also applies to cloud-based systems, which are also becoming increasingly widespread in the life science industry. Also due to the cloud-first strategy of many software providers, it is important to deal with this more intensively.

In our webinar, we will use the example of SAP DMC (SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud) to illustrate what needs to be considered in the individual phases of the system life cycle when using GxP-relevant systems in a public cloud deployment model. We will focus on the differences and challenges compared to on-premise applications (e.g. shared responsibility, supplier management, release management) and show possible solutions.
