Validation as part of the SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation at Incepta Pharmaceuticals, Bangladesh

Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is the second largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. The company deliberately chose DHC as its validation partner when implementing SAP ERP 6.0 in 2010. After 12 years of operating SAP ERP 6.0, the kick-off for the transformation project to SAP S/4HANA on premise took place in December 2022. The customer opted for a greenfield approach, i.e. a new implementation with final data migration. SAP S/4HANA was not only implemented and simultaneously validated at Incepta’s headquarters, but also in 13 divisions with independent production facilities and 29 distribution centres. Once again, DHC was chosen as the validation partner.

In this web session, Mohammad Rabiul Awal Bhuiyan, CSV Senior Executive Officer, Incepta, and Stefan Temps, DHC, as Incepta’s External CSV Lead, explain the challenges that had to be overcome before Incepta Pharmaceuticals was able to successfully go live with a validated SAP S/4HANA at the beginning of December 2023 thanks to DHC’s guidance and the use of DHC Validation Best Practice.
