DSAG Annual Convention 2026

Under the theme “Claim your ground – Lead your business”, the DSAG Annual Conference will bring the SAP community together from October 6–8, 2026, in Cologne.

The focus is on the current challenges of digital transformation:

  • SAP S/4HANA, Cloud,
  • Business Technology Platform,
  • Artificial Intelligence and Automation

– as well as the question of how companies can maintain direction, stability, and the ability to act as entrepreneurs in this context

Highlights include keynote addresses, specialized presentations on specific topics, SAP and partner sessions, and the opportunity for in-person networking at the exhibition. The conference focuses on practical case studies and a realistic assessment of new technologies—a particularly relevant setting for companies in regulated industries.

S/4HANA in a regulated Environment: From Validation Planning to a robust Project Approach

The practical presentation by Leonie Schütt, S/4HANA Validation Lead at Vetter Pharma highlights which issues should be clarified before the project actually begins, how validation requirements can be integrated with the SAP implementation, and why a continuous coaching model offers advantages over a standalone validation phase. Participants will receive concrete suggestions for planning their own S/4HANA transformation in a regulated environment.

Practical Knowledge for regulated SAP Environments

The three presentations offer different perspectives on a key challenge facing the life sciences industry: SAP systems must be continuously modernized without losing sight of stability, compliance, and validatability. The case studies provide concrete insights for companies that are planning or already implementing release upgrades, migrations, and SAP S/4HANA transformations in a GxP-regulated environment.
