For more than 25 years, the DHC Consulting Group with its two main locations in Saarbrücken (D) and Zurich (CH) has specialized in the implementation and validation of SAP systems in the pharmaceutical industry and medical technology. Our experience from a large number of successfully completed consulting projects and our deep understanding of processes make us today one of the central consulting partners for IT compliance of SAP solutions in the life sciences.

However, our competencies also include the special requirements of the industries for GxP compliance , the validation of computer systems or the IT compliance of cloud solutions (IaaS,PaaS, SaaS). Through our many years of project experience in this area, we are also specialized in the validation of MS D 365 or Cloud Native -Technologies.

The applicable regulations (e.g. 21 CFR, EU GMP, MDR, IVDR …) and guidelines

(e.g. GAMP 5) are very familiar to us and of course part of our consulting portfolio.

In addition, we offer industry-independent modern concepts and solutions around quality management based on the SAP solutions QM, QIM or QIR. Based on our many years of experience, we know which QM concepts can be realized with SAP technologies and what benefits integrated quality management systems bring you.

We have developed our own procedures and templates for all DHC consulting topics. If required, these are supplemented by technical DHC solutions, e.g. on the basis of DHC VISION . This leads to a significant acceleration and quality improvement in the projects, which is proven by numerous references as well as successfully passed authority and customer audits.

The deep SAP and industry expertise that Dr. Rudi Herterich had acquired in a large number of SAP projects at leading pharmaceutical companies prompted him to found his own consulting firm, DHC Dr. Herterich und Consultants GmbH, in Saarbrücken (D) in 1996. His goal was to support companies in the pharmaceutical industry and life sciences in the implementation of SAP PP-PI and SAP QM.

Due to the increasing requirements for the validation of computer systems, DHC soon developed a process-oriented approach for the introduction and prospective validation of SAP systems in the life science industry.

The great demand for these competences from the Swiss pharmaceutical and medical technology industry forced the foundation of DHC AG as an independent branch in Switzerland in 1999. Since then, our goal has been to support our customers in Switzerland competently and effectively with our local specialists.

In the meantime, we can look back on more than 20 years of consulting activities in Switzerland and Austria as well as many successful projects with our customers in the life sciences industry.
